Oceana is no stranger to the metaphysical. From childhood, it wasn’t just something she encountered, it was something she fully embraced. Her path has taken many turns, yet every direction has led her right here.
In the midst of her own mental health journey, Oceana began attending Michele’s sound baths in December 2023, where she quickly discovered a deep love for yoga and sound healing. By January 2025, she felt a strong pull toward Reiki and a growing curiosity for playing crystal singing bowls. After receiving her own set in February, she’s been playing ever since.
Although Reiki had first been introduced to her years ago by her mother, the timing never felt right, until the universe made it clear that this healing was meant for her. In May 2025, Oceana became a certified Mikao Usui Reiki II practitioner.
Her journey didn’t begin with the intention to heal others, but to heal herself. Through yoga, Reiki, and sound healing, she’s learned to be mindful, compassionate, and fully accepting of herself, and in doing so, she’s found a calling to help others do the same.
When she’s not in the studio, you’ll likely find Oceana with her hands in potting soil, crocheting, or spending time with friends and family.
